CARL Hooper, the celebrated former West Indies cricket captain, has been named a multicultural ambassador for Cricket Australia, marking a new chapter in the sports’ efforts to embrace diversity and foster inclusion.

The Multicultural Ambassador Programme features 58 influential figures from various fields, including past and present players, government officials, media personalities, business leaders, and community leaders.
