IN search of their second win of the ongoing Regional Super50, Guyana Harpy Eagles won the toss and opted to insert the Jamaica Scorpions at the Queen’s Park Oval.
However, only 41.3 overs were possible due to rain.
Half-centuries from Jermaine Blackwood and John Campbell pushed the Scorpions to 162-6.
Blackwood was unbeaten on 63 (6x4s) from 93 balls, while skipper Campbell made 53 (4x4s;2x6s) from 65 balls.
Ashmead Nedd continued his impressive tournament with 2-23 from 10 overs while Keemo Paul (1-12), Kevlon Anderson (1-15), Tagenarine Chanderpaul (1-24) and Veerasammy Permaul (1-31) shared wickets.
The no result pushed the Harpy Eagles to 28 points and provisionally placed them in third place.
After five games this season, Harpy Eagles have one victory, two defeats and two no-results.
They face Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in the next match on Saturday at 09:00h at the same venue.
