THE Leonora Police Station Management Committee (LPSMC), provided all the police stations in Region Three with first aid boxes, kits and drugs.
This was made possible through the kind courtesy and input of Global Ummah Foundation Inc., an American charitable organisation. The kits were handed over last Friday at a simple ceremony at the Leonora Police Station. Present to receive their kits were Station Sergeants from Parika, Leonora, Den Amstel, Vreed-en-Hoop and La Grange.
The remaining stations will pick up their respective kits from Leonora Police Station. The LPSMC made a commitment to replenish the drugs as they are utilised and venture into more community services with the police.
