Also lined up to give insight are Grant Downie consultant in medical and performance solutions, Dr Praimanand Singh consultant in emergency medicine and lecturer in sports medicine and Martin Gallyer strength and conditioning coach.
Insync Therapeutics co-founder Neil Barry Jr says the event will be a multidisciplinary conversation on optimal human performance through advanced philosophy and techniques.

“This is going to be ground breaking, not just for athletes but ideally this is meant to start a conversation around the elements of high performance and you will get a chance to listen to some premier professional in the world that work in high performance,” Barry said.
The event scheduled for September 29th is geared towards persons working with high level athletes as well as business partners, doctors and therapists among others.

Barry who has a Master’s Degree in sports and exercise and has worked with many national and international sporting teams, said that while the summit is catered to athletes, anyone interested in high performance can register for the event.
“This is not just for athletes but high performing individuals; people need to be high performers in all their spheres. We have a really good segment for doctors around things like diagnostic imaging and that can really help to change the way we look at how to assess pain and then start to move things forward,” Barry added.

The former national athlete says this is his team’s way of lending support to high performance sports in Guyana, noting, “We want to really help Guyana move forward. In my own experience, having been around world and working at the highest level of multiple sports and the other members of our team as well, we feel it’s very important to share some of our expertise with the local population and be able share some of our network.”

The inaugural Summit is set to be hosted a New Providence Gardens with registration costing US$100.
