IN a significant development aimed at advancing global education efforts, Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand, has been appointed to the board of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) for a two-year term. This appointment solidifies Guyana’s commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable education worldwide.
Minister Manickchand’s tenure on the board spans from January 2024 to December 2026, where she will serve as an alternate member.
