Reon King’s XI defeated Roger Harper’s X1 by 68 runs at the DCC ground yesterday in the GCA t20 cricket trial match for the upcoming Demerara Inter Association T20 tournament.

Team Reon King won the toss and batted and scored 183/9 in 20 overs with All-rounder Keon Morris top scored with 90 not out sixes and nine fours while Alvin Mohabir 20, Dave Mohabir 15, Adrian Hinds and Brandon Jaikarran 12 reached double figures.
Dwayne Dick 2/29 and Riyad Latif 2/20 had two wickets each for Team Roger Harper, who were bowled out for 115 in 15.1 overs with Christopher Barnwell scoring a quick-fire 52 with eight fours and two sixes to be the only Batter with a double figure score as Extras contributed 19.
