THE second batch of soldiers to undergo training on the Guyana Defence Force Drill course for 2023 graduated Wednesday following the successful completion of their training.
The 24 ranks drawn from various units across the Force endured six weeks of intense Drill instructions in Foot, Rifle, Pace Stick, Sword, Guard of Honour, Colors, and Funeral Drills.

Additionally, the course improved the individual drill proficiency of the participants.

Leading Rating Jeromey Aagard was adjudged the Best Graduating Student and also copped the Best Drill award, while Sergeant Oswin Gray gained the Runner-up Graduating Student prize.
