SHADWIN Semple, one of the alleged suspects in the murder of two Linden men, Johnson Bowen and Emmanuel Dos Santos, which occurred at Block 22 Wismar on May 13, 2023, was charged and remanded to prison on Thursday.

Semple was charged with the offence of Murder in the course or furtherance of a robbery, contrary to Section 100 1 (c) (i) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 8:01.
He appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Ester Sam, who read the charge to him.

The accused was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was subsequently remanded to prison until June 8, 2023.
