Gibbons goes back to back to back!

Gibbons, who won first won the Javelin event in 2019 could’ve potentially had five gold medals if COVID-19 didn’t postpone the 2020 & 2021 event. She won in 2022 and again yesterday.

She became the latest medalist, bringing Guyana’s total medal haul to four up to press time. The Berbician joins Tianna Springer, who won Gold in the Girls’ under-17 400m, Javon Roberts (Silver in Boys’ under-17 1500m) and Seon Booker, who finished with Bronze in the Boys’ under-20 1500m.
