Ten beautiful Indigenous women, who are vying for this year’s Miss Amerindian Heritage title, completed their first preliminary challenge at the St. Cuthbert’s Mission on Sunday.

The head-to-head challenge saw the women competing to make traditional Indigenous cuisine. The exciting and rigorous challenge was captured in photos by the Department of Public Information.
