UPPER Demerara Football Association (UDFA) Senior League defending champions, Eagles United, behind a double from 14-year-old National Under-16 player Dexter Milo (Jr), put aside the challenge of Topp XX by a 2-0 score-line while Silver Shattas eked out a 1-0 victory against Blueberry Hill United last Saturday as play resumed at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground in Linden after more than two months.

Milo’s double came in the 21st and 23rd minutes to seal victory in what was the second game of a double-header feature, following the first game where Silver Shattas gained their 1-0 win from a penalty taken by Oswald Benjamin in the 90th minute.

On Sunday, Net Rockers won 2-1 over Haynes Winners Connection, as Botofago squeezed past Milerock 1-0 when play continued in the UDFA Senior League.
The league championship is set to continue this weekend with two matches scheduled for the MSC ground on Saturday and Sunday.
