PRESIDENT Dr Irfaan Ali has promised that more funds will be allocated for the completion of synthetic tracks at the Bayroc Community Centre ground in Wismar, Linden and Burnham Park, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
President Ali made the affirmation while speaking at an Emancipation Day celebration in New Amsterdam.

“Before the end of this year – we’ve already met for the supplementary (funds) – you will see, at both tracks, work commencing to give you a final product that you deserve,” the President told the Berbice gathering.
