A 38-year-old woman is currently in custody after she was allegedly ‘busted’ with 168 ecstasy pills at her Line Path Section E, Skeldon Corentyne Berbice house.

Keisha Angel was arrested on July 1, 2022, during a joint operation between the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) and the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA).

According to a release from CANU, on July 1, ranks conducted an operation at Angel’s home and conducted a search that unearthed 168 pills of ecstasy. The narcotic weighed 94 grammes and had a street value of $ 260,000.

Angel is currently at CANU headquarters, and investigations are currently ongoing.
