KAIETEUR continued their winning ways, registering their third successive victory in as many weekends when the Brampton-Etobicoke & District Cricket League (BEDCL) 2022 season continued last Saturday.
Playing at the Laurel Creek Park on Saturday, Kaieteur defeated Canadian Eagles by 130 runs in a lop-sided affair in the Premier League Conference A fixture.

Led by a brilliant 75, which was decorated by six fours and a six off 78 balls from Guyana and West Indies Under-19 batsman Matthew Nandu and supporting knocks from openers Mahendra Jaipersaud, who slammed a fine 51 (58 balls) with four fours and 47, with three fours, from Miguel Nandu, Kaieteur reached a challenging 252 for eight in their allotted 50 overs. Pritiipal Sandhu was Canadian Eagles best bowler with four for 48 from nine overs.

Canadian Eagles, in reply, struggled throughout their innings with only Parmpreet Sandhu putting up a fight, with a defiant 42 off 40 balls, laced with seven fours as Marcel Nandu captured four for 31 and Praveeth Jhappan two for 30.
