GUYANA Harpy Eagles hold all the cards heading into today’s final day of play against Barbados Pride at the Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad.

In their second innings, Pride are 44 without loss, still needing another 180 runs to make the Eagles bat again after they opted to enforce the follow-on.
Pride started day three 48-2, firstly in pursuit of 290 to avoid the follow-on then possibly Eagles’ massive first-innings 490-7 declared.

Shai Hope scored 119 runs

West Indies One-Day International batter Shai Hope rallied his side with a sublime 119 (13×4, 2×6) from 200 balls and shared two vital stands of 89 with Raymon Reifer (29) and 69 with Shane Dowrich (44).
But the Eagles were hunting in a pack, led by Veerasammy Permaul, who took 4-81 from 22.4 overs and got support from Gudakesh Motie (2-37), Keemo Paul (2-43), and Demetri Cameron (1-36) as they bowled out Pride for 266.

Kraigg Brathwaite (17*) and Shayne Moseley (25*) are the men at the crease, who will resume today at 10:00hrs.
