He added that among the competitors, only one will emerge as the clear winner for the Kayaking champion for 2022.
Gifth is from Pinicle Promotion, and he is collaborating with Elite Kayaking and Nature Tours to present “Soak & Fete with Granny pun de beach,” the official Linden Town Week Wash-down and Beach Festival.
He stated that the event will take place on Sunday, May 5, at the Kara Kara Blue Lake, Linden and it is slated to be a family-oriented event.
Gifth explained that, that day, there will also be beach football, boxing and volleyball competitions.
At Kara Kara Blue Lake, Linden, there will be jet-skiing and kayaking.
Entertainment will be provided by Granny Ivelaw and the Mix Doctor, Hatta Vibes family and the Boom DJs.
The event is expected to start at 10:00hrs.
Gifth told the Pepperpot Magazine that trained lifeguards will be present and security is also in place, so there is really nothing to worry about except to have fun and relax a bit.
He reported that they are catering for a maximum of 800 persons and the Kara Kara Blue Lake is the ideal location for the event, which will also be featuring games for children and “curry-que” for adults.
Gifth added that a lot is being placed into organising the event and he has no doubt that things will come out as expected and he encourages all to visit and be a part of it.
“After being restricted for more than two years, it is good to be outside again and we realised that it was stressful for us all and we want to assist people to relax, unwind and have a good time here in Linden. We have a lot to offer and we will be going all out to ensure everything goes as planned, so there are no disappointments,” he said.
