TWO men were on Friday released on $300,000 bail each for allegedly breaking into E-Zone Online Shopping Company, here in the city.
Helton King, of Friendship, East Bank Demerara (EBD), and Dion Chan, a taxi driver of Agricola, EBD, appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, and denied that on April 19, 2022, on Regent Street, they broke into E-Zone and stole the sum of $2,375,740, the property of Paul Pantin.
After the pair was granted bail, the matter was adjourned until May 27, on condition that they lodge their passports at the court, and report to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) every Monday.
