The Guyana Fire Service on Friday concluded its Annual Officers’ Conference with a moment of prayer
Acting Commissioner of Police Clifton Hicken, along with senior officers, inspectors and other ranks of Police Headquarters converged at the Tactical Services Unit Tarmac in a unified ‘prayer circle’ to observe the National Day of Fasting
Labour Minister Joseph Hamilton and staff of the ministry observing the National Day of Fasting, under the theme, “Let us Fast Together, Pray Together, Stay Together”
The Guyana Prison Service (GPS) staff members and inmates at all locations observed the day with a combination of prayers, repentance and worship
Housing and Water Ministers Collin Croal and Susan Rodrigues; Permanent Secretary Andre Ally, and Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) Chief Executive Officer Sherwyn Greaves join staff of the ministry for a brief prayer session in observance of the National Day of Fasting and Prayers
Culture, Youth and Sport Minister Charles Ramson (Jnr.) and employees at the ministry began Friday with prayers by the three major religious faiths
Home Affairs Minister Robeson Benn, along with staff of the ministry stood as one during a small ceremony where the Christian, Hindu and Muslim prayers were recited
Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Chaplain Reverend Jacob Corbin leads ranks in prayers as part of the National Day of Fasting and Prayers
