IN celebration of its 10 years of existence in Guyana, Assuria Insurance has opened the doors to its 10th location at Anna Regina in Region Two.
The new office is located at the Builders Hardware Store, opposite the C V Nunes Primary School. Members of the public are already accessing services and a grand opening is scheduled for later this month.
Speaking with the Guyana Chronicle at the anniversary celebrations on Saturday, the company’s Managing-Director and General Manager Yogendra Arjune, said that Assuria continues to offer solid insurance products and services to Guyanese.
He said the company is focused on providing the best solution for its customers.
According to Arjune, Assuria takes pride in being an innovator and pioneer in the insurance industry in Guyana, noting that the company is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
In reflecting on the last 10 years, he said that the company opened its doors in Georgetown on April 1, 2012, offering quality insurance products with value- pricing.
Assuria currently offers insurance packages for motor, fire, life, health, travel, group, marine, liabilities, bonds and pension, which are tailored for all stakeholders, and in the oil-and-gas industry, backed by strong reinsurers’ support.
“We value feedback from our supporters and customers. We listen to their needs and concerns and have been able to tailor special insurance packages to suit their needs, such as our GTU plan for teachers and the serve and protect plan for members of the armed services,” Arjune said.
Assuria recently launched their “Dream realised package,” which supports the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) house lot allottees by providing as much as 50 per cent discounts on their home insurance for the first year. This will ensure that the allottee does not feel the burden and in turn will be able to save for the future.
Aside from the head office which is presently under construction at Church Street, Georgetown, the company has branch offices at Vreed-en-Hoop, Giftland Mall, Rose Hall, Parika, Linden, Corriverton, D’Edward Village, West Bank Berbice and the Amazonia Mall. Anna Regina is its newest location.
