AKANNI BLAIR of the A New and United Guyana (ANUG), on Monday, tendered his resignation from the party, saying that the small party is not measuring up to his “very high political drive”.
He also noted his intention to return to the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C), where, he said, he will be able to function in a better capacity.
In a letter dated March 28, 2022, Akanni Blair of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden, informed the Chairman of ANUG, Timothy Jonas, of his resignation with immediate effect.
In a Facebook post, Blair said he hopes ANUG can lift itself from its current position and offered best wishes to his former colleagues.
