SEASONED squash players Alex Arjoon and Nicolette Fernandes will headline a solid national squash team that will do battle at the Pan American Championships in Guatemala from April 3 to 9.

At a simple ceremony yesterday at the Georgetown Club Courts, to announce the team, both players, who are the respective team captains, expressed confidence they have the quality in talent and preparation to perform well.
Both thanked the sponsors for their overwhelming support in getting them to the important event.

Sponsors included Guyana Olympic Association, National Sports Commission, Cosmetics Beauty World, Modern Optical, John Fernandes Ltd and Excel Guyana Inc.
