MATTHEW Ambedkar, the young man behind the wheel of the car that ploughed into a bar at De Willem Public Road killing three men, West Coast Demerara (WCD), was charged today with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police, in a statement, said he appeared at the Leonora Magistrate Court before Magistrate Seepaul Ali, who read the charges to him.
He was not required to plea and was remanded to prison. The matter returns to court on March 24.
