Police ranks assists in paving median at Rahaman’s Turn

THE senior management of the Guyana Police Force, in a push to beautify and create cleaner and safer communities for all throughout Guyana, is assisting in paving of the median located at Rahaman’s Turn, East Bank Demerara.

The project is being carried out by several ranks from the Force’s Construction Department, under the supervision of Sergeant, Vickram Loaknauth of the Tactical Services Unit.

Sergeant Loaknauth, in an invited comment, noted that the project started about two weeks ago and is a “continuation of the government’s initiative for a better environment and enhancing the communities”.

The Sergeant also highlighted that the project, which started from Rahaman’s Turn and will end at Houston, is expected to be completed in the coming week.

He also took the opportunity to highlight the fact the entire project is being done by police ranks, stating: “Everyone who partook in the project are police ranks and we are proud to do something good for our community.”
