LINDEN resident, Ronaldo Chapman, called ‘Pappy’, on Tuesday, appeared in the Linden Magistrate’s Court charged for trafficking 121 grams of cannabis and was remanded to prison by Magistrate Wonda Fortune.
Chapman denied that, on December 25, at Block 22, Wismar, Linden, he had 121.4 grams of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was remanded to prison until February 7, 2021.
According to reports, Chapman was arrested by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU), after a search of a house in Block 22, Wismar, unearthed several ziplock bags and a black plastic bag containing cannabis concealed in a speaker box.
He was later taken to CANU headquarters where the cannabis was weighed.
