THE Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) held its bowling clinic specifically intended to target fast-bowlers and off-spinners, with a huge turnout on Sunday at the Albion Cricket Ground, Berbice.

The sessions were conducted by former Guyana/West Indies Test pacer, Reon King and ex-Guyana/Windies youth off-spinner turned cricket journalist, Sean Devers.

Close to 60 players attended the clinic which bowled off at 11:00hrs under the guidance of a few national and Berbice coaches the likes of Winston Smith, Leslie Soloman and Balram Samaroo, who assisted the main facilitators.

The BCB handed over two special gifts to the visiting coaches, who both expressed their happiness at the way the BCB was conducting the affairs of Berbice Cricket.

While the BCB promised a more detailed release on their assessment of the clinic in the near future, they nevertheless took the time to express their gratitude to both King and Devers for their initial support of the youth programme.
