– Tyrell repeats as female champion

MARLON Nicholson of the Guyana Defence Force produced a stunning run to upset the usual favourites and win the 19th edition of the South American 10k race on Sunday.
The 25-year-old clocked 33:27.80s to finish ahead of 2020 champion, Winston Missegher (33:38.30s) and Odwin Tudor (33:39.30s).

20-year-old Sheama Tyrell won the female title yet again, clocking 41:16.09s followed by Aliyah Headly and Assatta Eastman.
