GECOM should halt the process of hiring a new CEO until legislative changes are made

Dear Editor,
GECOM should halt the process of hiring a new Chief Executive Officer until legislative changes are made to split the duties of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Elections Officer, and the National Commissioner for Registration. Currently, one person wears all three of these hats and there can be no better example of why the jobs/responsibilities should not reside with one person than the 2018-2020 elections.

Yours sincerely,
Robin Singh
