AN unidentified pedestrian was seriously injured in the wee hours of Friday morning, after he was struck down by a vehicle on the Railway Embankment at Liliendaal, East Coast Demerara. Police received a report of the accident at 02:10 hours and later found licence plate PZZ 1276 at the scene. The identity of the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident is unknown.
