NATIONAL table tennis player, Miguel Wong, has gotten support from Zoon Online Shopping and Shipping, who will be sponsoring his equipment needs as he prepares for the Junior Pan American Games scheduled for November 25 – December 5 in Colombia.

The simple presentation occurred on Monday at the business entity’s Middle Street location and, according to Sales Associate Felicity Sonaram, “we are very proud to do so; you don’t see many places pushing the natural talent here in Guyana, so we want to be able to carry him somewhere, push him further and the best way we found to do this is by sponsoring.”

Wong, in response, thanked the company for its partnership and vowed to represent them to the best of his ability.
When the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) revealed the prospectus for the event, Wong was listed as a Caribbean representative in the Men’s Under-21 Singles.

Wong’s qualification came as a result of his World Ranking in which, at that time, he was ranked 706 with 168 rating points.
The Games is a forthcoming international multi-sport event for athletes aged 18 to 21 in the Americas, organised by Panam Sports.
