Home Affairs Minister, Robeson Benn visiting relatives of the deceased at Kairuni, on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway

HOME Affairs Minister, Robeson Benn on Wednesday visited the relatives and friends of Antonio Henry, Meliena Emmanuels and Akese Jerome who died as a result of a traffic accident on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway at Kairuni last Sunday.
According to a release, the minister expressed condolences on behalf of his ministry, and his personal regret at the tragic loss of life. He undertook to follow up on the government’s commitment to provide aid to the bereaved, and support for Alina Persaud, eight, and Rodwell Jerome, 50, who were also severely injured as a result of the accident, and are still hospitalised.
