Police are on the hunt for a 25-year-old convict who escaped from the Mazarui Prison on Friday afternoon.
Police Headquarters, in a statement, noted that Kevin LaFleur, “made a run for his freedom into the bushes aback the prisons,” at around 13:15hrs. LaFleur, whose last known address is Lot 84 Providence Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara, was serving a sentence of 56 months for robbery under arms.
