(News Day): Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley, has tested positive for COVID-19. A statement on his Facebook page, on Tuesday, said Dr Rowley, 71, began experiencing flu-like symptoms on Monday evening and was subsequently tested for COVID-19.
Rowley is in isolation and under medical supervision.
The Prime Minister was expected to receive his Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at 14:30h on Tuesday, at the Scarborough Health Centre, Tobago.
