City police robbed of motorcycle at knife-point

A TWENTY-TWO-year-old City Police was, on Monday night, robbed of his Honda motorcycle by two knife-wielding bandits at Light Street, Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.
Reports are that around 21:00 hours, Kellon Davis was riding his black CB 1 Honda motorcycle in the vicinity of Light Street and as he slowed down to go over a speed bump, two males who were walking on the roadway approached him. One of the men pulled out a knife and ordered him to get off the bike, while the other armed himself with a piece of wood which was nearby.
The victim complied and dismounted his motorcycle. The robbers quickly mounted it and made good their escape in a northern direction.
The matter was reported to the police and the investigation is ongoing.
