A TWENTY-seven-year-old man lost his life on Thursday night while bathing in a trench at Abram Zuil, in Region Two, not far from his home. Dead is Lennox Ballieram of Lot 3, Abram Zuil, on the Essequibo Coast. His lifeless body was discovered by his brother, Johan. According to information reaching this newspaper, Ballieram lived with his adopted parents, and in addition to being a habitual drinker, he was diagnosed as having leukaemia. Johan related that it was his mother who told him that his brother had left to take a bath in a trench at the front of their house around 20:00 hours on Thursday and had not returned. On hearing this, Johan went in search of Lennox, and around 06:30 hours, he discovered his brother’s body submerged in the trench. The police were then summoned to the scene; there were no visible marks of violence on Lennox’s body, which was escorted to the Suddie Public Hospital, where a doctor pronounced him dead. His body is currently at the Suddie Mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
