DIVENDRA BISSOON, 42, of Albion, East Berbice, Corentyne, was sentenced to six months imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to a simple larceny charge.

Bissoon was arrested on November 18, after he allegedly stole one bale of house proud toilet paper valued at $2,500.

He appeared before Magistrate Renita Singh at the Albion Magistrate’s Court, on Friday, where the charge was read to him.
