YOUNG Saif Allimullah and his wife, Wafiyyah Ali, of Anna Regina, Region Two, are providing a vital service through their business “Clear Print Document Centre and Stationery Supplies” by offering, at a cheaper rate, services related to past examination papers and other educational material.
The business is situated at lot 65 Parray Street, Anna Regina, opposite the Al-Madinah Islamic Academy.
Allimullah, the owner of the business, said he and his wife, with the help of a few family members, started the business from scratch. The young man said he was working with other persons and found it challenging, and, as such, he and his wife decided to venture into a business that will benefit Pomeroon-Supenaam residents, particularly students.
They now enjoy being their own boss and working at their own pace, serving their customers.

The couple started the business five years ago by offering photocopying and laminating services, but, over the years, due to customer satisfaction, they have extended, offering a wide variety of craft items and stationery.
When asked what prompted them to open such a business, especially when there are many similar businesses around in the township of Anna Regina, the couple both smiled and said it was a request from students, teachers and residents.
“You see we live right opposite the Muslim school, then two other leading secondary schools are right next to us, along with the Education Department; we were noticing that there were many items that students wanted but they weren’t available nearby, and, as such, the idea of our business birthed,” Wafiyyah said.
She said the store is stocked based on demand and requests from students. She said whenever she goes to Georgetown to source the items she would tour the City to ensure she gets all the items her customers need.
“I have to check various areas for craft items, especially for teachers, and I have to make sure that we get quality and also at an affordable price,” Wafiyyah explained.
The couple are managing the business well and said their intention in the future is to start wholesaling to others who will like to open similar businesses. Both husband and wife said that they had an employee, but, due to the pandemic, they now have to manage the business by themselves.
The couple also said customer satisfaction is their motto and they have been receiving positive feedback since the establishment of the business. Their advice to anyone who is aspiring to open a business is to start small, keep the faith and success will be achieved.
