A POPULAR dryer operator who went swimming at Hamburg Beach on Sunday has gone missing, and his family fears that he might have drowned.
Humal Juggernauth, 25, of Spring Garden, Essequibo Coast was last seen swimming with his uncle.
According to information reaching this newspaper, Juggernauth, who works at the Golden Fleece Rice Investment (GFRI), popularly known as Hakh Rice Mill, went to the beach for a family picnic.
At around 15:00 hrs, he and his uncle went to take a dip, but when his uncle returned to shore, Juggernauth was nowhere to be seen. It was then that family members realised that he was missing, and launched a search, but did not find him.
Relatives subsequently made a report to the Aurora Police Station.
