WITH the number of COVID-19 cases on the rise in Guyana, fears and anxieties are through the roof and what is needed more than ever is something to chase the COVID-19 blues away.
Making available several treats that can be delivered at your doorstep, Seon King, a graphic designer and entrepreneur, is providing what can be described as a package-filled sweet savory—he has a healthy snacks option.

Having been home like everyone else to limit the spread of the virus, King noted that he would often find himself bored and craving a quick snack and would make his way down to his local supermarket.

However, standing in long lines to grab a few of his favourite snacks especially during the pandemic seemed a little hazardous, the young man disclosed that it was due to this experience and his frustrations of being in a partial lockdown for some time that sparked the idea of having some of your favourite treats at hand during the pandemic. “When COVID-19 came…I was home basically frustrated and bored so I started thinking about business ideas.”

Having some experience in the world of business and online marketing, Seon birthed the idea for Munchy Chest.
“This is not the first business venture that I’ve gone into and apart from that, I’ve been working from home since before the pandemic like a year ago, so I’ve been working closely with social media and technology this came easy to me to push [my business] on social media and do graphics,” King said.
