RESHMA Deoroop, 22, of Good Hope, East Coast Demerara, accused of larceny, was, on Thursday, granted $30,000 bail by Magistrate Delon Bess.

Deoroop appeared before Magistrate Delon Bess at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to her.

Particulars of the charge stated that on Monday, June 22, 2020, at Barrack Street, Kingston, Georgetown, Deoroop, being employed as a clerk or servant by Tesouro Resources and Grey Wolf Resources, stole the sum of $50,000, Property of Tesouro Resources and Grey Wolf Resources– her employers.
The matter was adjourned to Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
