Ronald Armstrong called ‘Rubber’

A TWENTY-SEVEN-year-old labourer, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Diamond/Grove Magistrate’s Court, charged with two counts of armed robbery.

Ronald Armstrong called `Rubber’ of Parika, East Bank Essequibo pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded to prison.
Particulars of the charges alleged that Armstrong, on August 27 at M. Gobin Dam Friendship, East Bank Demerara, while being armed with a gun, robbed Haymattie Sookdeo, a 62-year-old chef and Rookmin Dookie, a 52-year-old housewife.
Armstrong will make his next court appearance on October 22.
