THE Essequibo Islands/West Demerara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (R3CCI) has congratulated Dr. Irfaan Ali upon his election as President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana.

According to President of R3CCI, Halim Khan, “your decisive victory is a personal triumph and we wish you success as you take up the responsibility to lead this nation”.
He continued: “Your Excellency, we look forward to working closely with you to further strengthen our relations and foster close ties of friendship and cooperation. Best wishes for your well-being and peace, progress and prosperity for the Guyanese people.”

The R3CCI also extends sincere congratulations to the newly-appointed Cabinet.
Khan said the chambers look forward to working with ministers of government to implement and facilitate decisions that will develop the business community, and, by extension, the country.

“We would like to find an early opportunity to meet with policy leaders to discuss the potential synergies between the work of R3CCI and some of the initiatives identified, particularly for the business sector. Once again please accept our best wishes on your new portfolios,” he said.
