IN a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, Radio Shack Guyana on Friday opened the doors to its third store under the Unicomer Guyana network of retail stores at the Fogarty’s main outlet mall Robb street entrance.

Speaking at the opening, Brand manager of Radio Shack Guyana Roberta Ferguson, in her remarks, stated “Radio Shack was launched in Guyana in 2017 and during that short period of time, we’re opening our third store. We’re very happy to be here and to be at this location in the heart of Georgetown. We’re committed to serving the Guyanese community with the best in electronics and the fact that we’re opening our third location is a testimony to the great services we provide. “

According to Laverne Barker, director of commercial operations of Unicom Guyana, the opening ceremony had long been delayed because of the current pandemic. Nevertheless, the company is very happy to have pursued the aforementioned endeavour, as it would further provide customers with the very best in electronic products.

Radio Shack was first launched in Guyana in 2017 at the Giftland Mall. Later, the brand further expanded its operations to include a smaller outlet in the Lucky Dollar building on Regent Street, along with a few courts outlets. Now, as the brand continues to grow in Guyana, RadioShack is proud to open its largest store on the ground floor of the Fogarty’s Building.
