RECENTLY appointed Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr, was given all assurance by staff members at the entity, that he will receive their fullest support.
It was Ramson’s first meeting with his staff yesterday, following which he was given a tour of the Ministry’s Main Street, Georgetown office by Permanent Secretary, Melissa Tucker.
“Ramson received all assurances that the Ministry’s staff stands ready to support him in advancing the development of Culture, Youth and Sport in Guyana,” the Ministry said via a statement on their facebook page.
Ramson hinted at some key changes with regards to sports and culture as administered in Guyana, and urged all to get on board.
According to new Minister, he’s looking forward to working with the team at the Ministry and thanked them all in advance for their support. (Rawle Toney)
