The Ministry of Public Health today announced that another person has died from complications attributed to the Coronavirus.

As such the total number of deaths attributed to the pandemic in Guyana, to 18.The individual is said to be a 74-year old male who died at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation on July 12, 2020.

Guyana has so far recorded 308 positive cases of the disease.There are 135 active cases of COVID-19 in Guyana and Region One , which has recorded more than 80 cases, has become the epicenter of the pandemic here.
