PSC congratulates CARICOM

THE Private Sector Commission (PSC) takes great pleasure in congratulating the Caribbean community on the observance of CARICOM Day.

The PSC most especially extends its congratulations to CARICOM Secretary- General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, on his sterling work in organising and supporting the CARICOM observer mission for the March 2 General elections, and the delegation of high-level observers to scrutinise the GECOM Election Recount.

We would like to particularly express our appreciation to the members of the high-level delegation for the personal sacrifice they made in the completion of the mission, and submission of a comprehensive and conclusive report.

The Private Sector Commission also particularly expresses its unreserved appreciation of and admiration for the unstinting support and dedication of Barbados’s Prime Minister Mia Mottley and current Chairman of CARICOM, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines specifically, and to all CARICOM leaders generally for the protection and preservation of democracy in Guyana.
