Citing its ongoing efforts to safeguard employees and customers amid ongoing COVID-19 concerns Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited will be cutting its daily operations to serve customers on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only.

The new measure takes effect from Tuesday, April 14th until Thursday, April 30th, 2020, the bank announced today.Already the Republic Bank has cut its hours of business from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and this remains in effect.

The bank noted that its available in-branch services being offered includes, as follows:

Teller:

  •  Withdrawals
  •  Cheque and cash deposits
  •  Encashment of cheques

OTHER:

  • Sale of drafts
  • Wire transfers
  • Purchase and sale of foreign currency
  • Limited loan services
  • Distribution of Republic OneCards and credit cards
  • Night Depository registration and wallet collection

According to the bank, to assist with other banking needs and help avoid visits to branches, customers are urged to contact their respective branches or email gyemail@rfhl.com.
