A LINDEN youth, on Wednesday, succumbed to severe injuries at the Georgetown Public Hospital after he rode a motorcycle into a house on Wismar, Linden, last Thursday.
Dead is Eon Patterson, 19, of Block 22, Wismar Linden. This newspaper understands that Patterson suffered major head injuries as well as injuries to the throat.
His jaw was also broken. He was not wearing a helmet at the time and was running an errand for his sister. The motorcycle reportedly belonged to the sister’s fiancé.
Family members later heard a crashing sound into a nearby house and after checking, they saw Patterson lying in an unconscious state. He was picked up and rushed to the LHC but was later transferred to the GPHC.
Persons residing in the house, in which he crashed into, said they heard a loud bang. Upon investigating, they saw Patterson lying motionless in the yard.
No other person was injured and the house was slightly damaged.
