ON Wednesday, March 11, 2020, Joel Stanford, charged with felonious wounding, was brought before Magistrate Faith McGusty, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The charge alleged that, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Queen Street, Kitty, Stanford, unlawfully and maliciously, wounded Kareem Lovell, in an attempt to maim, disfigure, disable or cause grievous bodily harm to him.
When Stanford was read the charge, he pleaded not guilty.
Stanford’s grandmother and the victim (Lovell), came to an agreement.
The conditions of the agreement would be heard today in court.
Stanford was refused bail by Magistrate McGusty.
