TEARY eyes, sad faces, pomp, ceremony and masses of people including Joint Service ranks were the highlights of the funeral of Senior Superintendent of the Guyana Police Force, Brian Oswald Eastman, who was laid to rest on Tuesday.
A thanksgiving service was held at the Central Seventh Days Adventist Church on Church and Oronoque Streets, Georgetown.

The funeral was also attended by Minister of Public Security, Khemraj Ramjattan, senior military officials and heads of various agencies. He was laid to rest at the Le Repentir Cemetery.

Eastman was killed along with his friend, Dillon De Ramos, after the Lexus GX 470 with registration number PTT 6775 crashed into the fence of Yokohama Trading at Liliendaal on November 26, 2019.
