RANKS on duty at the Berbice River Bridge police checkpoint on Saturday around 07:15hrs stopped and searched a hire car and found five parcels of suspected cannabis, which when weighed amounted to 2,350 ( two thousand three hundred and fifty grammes).

A 48-year-old domestic worker of High Dam, Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, Berbice, was arrested and is being processed for court.
